The samples on YouTube, are in MP4 format & are inherently of lesser quality than the original recordings on the CD, but are nonetheless, reasonable previews of the musical content.

Noteworthy, that each of the songs on this self-produced project were constructed one track at a time with the artist performing all the vocal and instrumental parts.
Both modest open-reel 4-track and PC based DAW multi-track technology were utilized in the recording process. Phil wrote all the songs, and in fact, "re-cycled" an earlier version of "Drive That Woman Outa My Mind" for this collection. In his personal archives he found his original unmixed 4- track tape "demo" of this song, which was lacking a lead break, but had "the sound" that he wanted to preserve. After digitizing and re-synching the individual tracks, he lengthened the song by "cutting and splicing" a verse passage, less the vocal, then added a new twin lead guitar break. (The only percussion on this song is a single cymbal and a cardboard box with snare wires attached.) The majority of drums, cymbals & percussion, heard on the remaining tracks, are from meticulously custom sequenced samples of actual instruments.
The 3/4 time "The Heart is Quicker Than The Eye" is also an older recording re-mixed for this album.
